PM criticises Congress’s ‘cancel culture’, mocks Rahul Gandhi’s repetitive strategy | ActionPunjab

ACTION PUNJAB NEWS Desk: In his final address to the current Lok Sabha session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a blistering critique of the Congress party, accusing them of being entangled in a ‘cancel culture.’ He took a direct swipe at Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that the party was stuck in a cycle of relaunching the same political agendas repeatedly.

The Prime Minister highlighted the Congress party’s opposition to several government initiatives, including Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and Vocal for Local. “Congress is caught in cancel culture. If we say Make in India, Congress says cancel; When we say Vocal for Local, Congress says cancel; when we propose Vande Bharat, Congress again says cancel,” PM Modi stated during his speech in the current Lok Sabha session.

Further addressing the Congress party, PM Modi remarked on their apparent commitment to remaining in the opposition for an extended period, drawing parallels to their prolonged tenure in power. “I appreciate the Opposition’s resolve to remain in the opposition for a long time. The way you sat here (in government) for many decades, the same way you resolve to sit there (in opposition). The public will certainly give you its blessings,” he commented.

In a pointed dig at Rahul Gandhi, who is currently leading the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Jharkhand, PM Modi remarked, “In a bid to re-launch the same product, the shop of Congress is on the verge of being locked.” This comment alluded to the repetitive nature of the Congress party’s strategies, implying potential consequences for their political standing.

The Prime Minister’s address underscored his perspective on the Congress party’s approach, criticizing what he perceives as a tendency to oppose government initiatives without offering constructive alternatives. Additionally, the comments directed at Rahul Gandhi highlighted the perceived lack of innovation in the Congress party’s political agenda.
