ACTION PUNJAB NEWS Desk: Border Security Force (BSF) troops on Monday detained a Pakistani national near the border fence in an area adjacent to Pallopati village in Tarn Taran district, Punjab. The apprehended person has been identified as a 16-year-old Pakistani national from Kasur.
The initial questioning was carried out by the BSF, local police, and other agencies, implying that the apprehended person was coherent in their response and was familiar with the surroundings.
The intruder was apprehended with one mobile phone and one Pakistani rupee note worth Rs 100.
Following a medical examination, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the apprehended person was handed over to Police Station Khalra for further investigation into his motive and plans.
The BSF promptly approached the Pakistan Rangers and lodged a strong protest for their failure to restrict unauthorised movement near the IB.
However, the Pakistan Rangers informed us that there are no missing reports of anyone on their side.
