Don’ts for Ramadan 2024:

2. Negative Behavior: Avoid engaging in negative behaviour such as lying, gossiping, or backbiting.
3. Excessive Indulgence: Resist the temptation of overeating or indulging in extravagant meals during iftar and suhoor (pre-dawn meal).
4. Neglecting Prayer: Ensure regular attendance of the five daily prayers and additional prayers, such as taraweeh, during Ramadan.
5. Wasting Time: Utilise time wisely for prayer, Quranic recitation, self-reflection, and acts of worship, avoiding distractions and idle activities.
6. Neglecting Charity: Make an effort to contribute to charitable causes and help those in need, fulfilling the obligation of zakat (charitable giving) during Ramadan.
Ramadan 2024, commencing on March 12 and concluding with Eid-ul-Fitr on April 11, is an auspicious time for Muslims to renew their faith, strengthen their relationship with Allah, and foster unity within the community through shared rituals and acts of worship.
