The fire broke out in a four-story building where a car parking facility occupied the ground floor. Originating from the parking lot, the flames quickly spread, shrouding the entire structure in thick smoke.
Despite the narrow street making access challenging, firefighters managed to reach the site and commence firefighting efforts. A thorough search was conducted on each floor of the building. Amidst the chaos, three men, four women, and two children were rescued and promptly transferred to Hedgewar Hospital for medical attention.
