New Delhi, March 12: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted searches across four states and a Union Territory as part of its investigation into the terrorist-gangster nexus case, according to sources.
The extensive searches took place at 30 locations in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. The NIA, in its ongoing efforts to disrupt and dismantle terror and mafia networks, has employed targeted strategies, including the attachment and seizure of properties linked to the “proceeds of terrorism,” as stated by an NIA spokesperson.
