Nicaragua Human Trafficking Case
A human trafficking case in Nicaragua has been reported in various newspapers, in which 303 passengers from India were detained by French authorities.
According to reports, 70% of the 303 passengers on a plane operated by the Romanian company Legend Airlines in Dubai last week were from Punjab, with the majority of them being in their mid-20s and early 30s.
They were on their way to Nicaragua, but a refuelling stop at Vatry airport in northeastern France on December 21 resulted in the plane being grounded for four days due to an anonymous tip.
