The cause of the fire was determined to be a fuel tank that caught fire on the National Highway near Khanna, causing a chaotic scene that halted traffic and prompted an urgent response from emergency services. The oil tanker collided with a divider and overturned.
Photos and videos of the incident show thick, black smoke billowing into the sky as vehicles drive under the flyover. There have been no reports of fatalities or serious injuries as of yet.
Firefighters have arrived and are attempting to put out the massive fire.
