ICC ODI Cricketer of the Year: Indian cricketing syar Virat Kohli won the prestigious ICC men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year award for the fourth time.
King Kohli received the award for his exceptional performance in the 2023 season and his outstanding performance in the One-Day International format, particularly during the World Cup held in India.
Kohli’s fourth win demonstrates his consistency and dominance in one-day international cricket. Kohli finished the 2023 season as the second-highest run-scorer in ODIs, trailing only his compatriot Shubman Gill.

Throughout the year, the former Indian captain scored 1,377 runs in ODIs, demonstrating his remarkable batting ability. His impressive tally of six centuries and eight half-centuries demonstrated his ability to consistently perform at the highest level and contribute significantly to the Indian cricket team’s success.
Kohli surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing record of ODI centuries in 2023, making it a memorable year. This honour caps a remarkable year for the Indian batter, who not only achieved a personal milestone but also led his country to the World Cup final. Kohli was named Player of the Tournament after scoring a tournament-high 765 runs in 11 matches.
