Cong leader on Opposition alliance | Action Punjab

ACTION PUNJAB NEWS Desk: Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who has recently criticised some decisions by the party leadership, claimed that the opposition INDIA bloc no longer exists in reality.

Krishnam questioned the viability and efficacy of the Opposition alliance, which was viewed as a significant political move aimed at consolidating opposition forces against the ruling government, claiming that the bloc “immediately contracted a lot of diseases right after its birth” and was then placed on a ventilator.

Referring to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s recent flip-flop, the spiritual leader-politician stated that the JD(U) leader performed the last rites in Patna.

“I think there is no such thing as INDIA Alliance. When the INDIA Alliance was formed, it immediately contracted several diseases. It was then transferred to the ICU and placed on a ventilator. Nitish Kumar performed India’s last rites in Patna,” Krishnam said.

Krishnam, 59, who ran for and lost the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Lucknow on a Congress ticket, lambasted the grand old party’s decisions, such as skipping the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22.
