Tractor convoys gather, Punjab farmers to march to Delhi after no consensus on key demands | ActionPunjab

Farmers’ Dilli Chalo March: Two years after compelling the Centre to revoke three farm laws, concluding their year-long protest at Delhi’s borders, Punjab farmer unions announced late Monday night their intention to march to the Capital at 10 am on Tuesday, emphasising their demands, including a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) for crops.

The decision for the ‘Dilli Chalo’ movement came after prolonged, inconclusive talks in Chandigarh, featuring representatives such as Samyukta Kisan Morcha’s Jagjit Singh Dallewal and Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee’s Sarwan Singh Pandher in discussions with Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Arjun Munda.
