ACTION PUNJAB NEWS Desk: A devastating explosion at a firecracker factory in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district claimed at least four lives and left several others injured on Sunday. The injured have been rushed to the district hospital for urgent medical attention.
The cause of the explosion remains under investigation. SP Kaushambi, Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, confirmed that the factory in Bharwari possessed licenses for both selling and manufacturing firecrackers. He stated, “According to information, four people have died. Of the injured people, some are in serious condition and have been sent to the hospital. The victims were workers of the factory which had the license to both sell and manufacture firecrackers.”
Efforts to contain the fire were promptly initiated, and authorities have registered a case in connection with the incident. Disturbing visuals depict thick black smoke engulfing the area as locals and law enforcement personnel strive to extinguish the flames. The aftermath reveals the grim devastation wrought upon the factory structure.

This unfortunate incident follows a recent tragedy earlier this month when an explosion at a firecracker factory in Madhya Pradesh’s Harda district resulted in 11 fatalities and over 170 injuries. While investigations into the cause of these explosions continue, factory owners have faced legal repercussions, including charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
