Winter holidays extended: Keeping severe cold conditions in the state, the Punjab Government has decided to extend the winter holidays for schools.
As per the announcement made by Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, schools will remain shut till January 21 for classes up to 5th. Furthermore, the school hours have been shortened to 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All double-shift schools will function from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No double-shift schools will open after 4:00 p.m.
